Givens Estates resident woodworkers crafted and delivered 200 toy doll chairs and basketball games (1,700 pieces glued and nailed together by 10 woodworkers) to Apple Country Woodcrafters in Hendersonville.  Apple Country Woodcrafters will distribute these donated toys as well as other donated toys to the following agencies at a party at the Elks Lodge in Hendersonville.

• The Storehouse
• A Helping Hand & Prison Ministries

Residents of Givens Estates have many opportunities to volunteer their time and talents for the benefit of the greater Asheville area. The Givens Estates woodworkers have been creating and donating hand-crafted wooden toys to area children for the past twelve years.
