Residents enjoyed a beautiful day riding down the Virginia Creeper Trail, a picturesque rails to trails path. The trip began at White Top Mountain and concluded in Damascus, in total a 17 mile ride. Along the way were numerous trestle bridges and beautiful places to stop to enjoy the views. The group paused for a picnic lunch and also celebrated their accomplishment over ice cream and chocolate cake at the end of the ride.
