Givens Communities is proud to sponsor the Asheville Area Piano Forum, a nonprofit organization that has enriched Western North Carolina through piano education, performance opportunities, and community engagement for more than two decades.
Through its annual Fall and Spring Benefit Concerts, the Piano Forum raises funds to support student assistance programs, helping make piano instruction and music education more accessible to aspiring musicians throughout the region. The partnership is especially meaningful for Givens, where residents and team members share a deep appreciation for the arts. Several members are residents at Givens Highland Farms, and residents across Givens campuses actively participate in and enjoy music-related programs and performances.
At Givens, the arts play an important role in fostering lifelong learning, creativity, and meaningful connections. Supporting organizations like Asheville Area Piano Forum aligns with Givens Communities’ commitment to enriching lives and strengthening the cultural fabric of Western North Carolina.
Residents, families, and community members are invited to attend the free piano concerts hosted by the Asheville Area Piano Forum at its home church, First Congregational United Church of Christ in Asheville. In addition to its benefit concerts, Asheville Area Piano Forum offers recitals, masterclasses, and educational programs throughout the year that celebrate piano performance while supporting music education for students of all ages.
“We believe the arts enrich lives at every age and help build stronger, more connected communities,” said Givens Foundation representatives. “We are honored to support organizations like the Asheville Area Piano Forum that inspire, educate, and bring people together through the power of music.”
