Givens Communities was proud to sponsor the YMCA of Western North Carolina’s Healthy Aging Day, an event dedicated to helping older adults stay active, connected and engaged in their communities.

Held September 22 at the Reuter Family YMCA in Biltmore Park, Healthy Aging Day brought together older adults, families and community organizations from across Buncombe County and Western North Carolina to explore resources, wellness opportunities and meaningful community connections.

The event was designed for adults 55 and older and provided an opportunity for participants to learn more about programs and services that support health and well-being throughout the aging journey.

Carla Robinson from Givens Highland Farms and Ashley King of Givens Estates offered insights into senior health and happiness

Givens Communities was pleased to be among the organizations participating in the event. Members of the Givens team connected with attendees and shared information about the programs, services and opportunities available to support older adults in living vibrant, purposeful lives.

Sponsoring Healthy Aging Day reflects Givens’ ongoing commitment to investing in partnerships that strengthen the lives of older adults throughout Western North Carolina. By working alongside organizations such as the YMCA of Western North Carolina, Givens helps expand access to resources, relationships and opportunities that promote well-being and connection at every stage of aging.

Givens is grateful to the YMCA of Western North Carolina for bringing the community together and creating an opportunity to celebrate healthy aging.
