Every summer, Givens takes a day trip to the Barter Theatre, the State Theatre of Virginia, in Abingdon, to see one of the many wonderful productions this year we will be seeing Annie.  Leapin'Lizards!

U.S. News & World Report- Givens Health Center One of America’s Best Nursing Centers

Givens Health Care Center received a Five Star Rating making them one of the best Nursing Homes in America.  Givens Estates is listed in the February 2010 issue of U.S. News & World Report as having one of America's Best Nursing Homes.  U.S. News researched and considred data on over 16,000 nursing homes in the country and selected the 173 best to list in this issue.  Givens is among the top 173 in the country and only four listed in North Carolina.

Asheville Community Theatre - Oliver!

Based on the Dickens novel, Oliver! will engage the audience with pathos and drama, while delighting everyone with outstanding musical numbers.  Food, Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, Where is Love?, Consider Yourself, As Long As He Needs Me, Who will buy, and Reviewing the Situation are musical theatre classics!
